Agassiz Alpenglow
light bathes the San Francisco Peaks at sunrise
and at sunset (as seen here) each clear day, for just
a few minutes. To be up above or in this case right
at the treeline and bask in this light is awesome,
everything glows: the peaks, the clouds, the trees
To be in the alpenglow is a special time. This red
clinging to the windswept lava, even the smallest of
alpine wildflowers and lichens - everything glows.
