Flame Roof Ruin
This ruin on Cedar Mesa reminds most visitors of
a house on fire. The ruin is illuminated by the light
bouncing off of the cliff walls on the opposite side
of the canyon, adding to the fiery glow. The hiker
log at the trailhead hadn't been signed in a week
and the last entry read, "saw big mountain lion in
canyon." I didn't see the cat, but its tracks were
everywere.
