Spirit of the Red Sun
Wukoki Ruin at Wupatki National Monument is a
favorite subject of mine. My photo professor in
college had a composition of this ruin, and it was his
image of this place that really made me understand
landscape photography. This image was made as
the sun rose through a monsoon storm and made
the land glow more red than I've ever seen before.
