Sunset over the Colorado
This section of the Colorado River is just below
Glen Canyon Dam. Not far below here the
Marble Gorge begins. So this small stretch of river
is what remains of the old Glen Canyon - a place
drowned by Lake Powell and lost for now. The
sandstone of Glen Canyon is like no other, I stand
on this edge and wonder what it was like pre-dam.
