Under the Yellow Pine
This composition came together on a rainy and
overcast day on Mingus Mountain. The rain
saturated the colors in the agave and pine needles,
and the cloud cover provided a nice even light for
those saturated colors to be rendered on film. I
love the patterns created by the agave and the
needles and the interaction between the two. The
pine cone nestled in there tops it all off.
