Big Cat Petroglyph
This is a powerful petroglyph in Red Tank Draw,
near Sedona. The image seems to be a large
saber-toothed cat, but by the time the artist
(probably Sinaguan) created the image those cats
were long gone. The glyph could represent a
Mountain Lion, however the more I look at it the
more I think it may be a bobcat or lynx - note the
short tail and facial tufts.
